Have a friend that is constantly trying to get you to go on a hike? “It’ll be fun!”, they said. After 30 minutes, you wish you were back in bed but they’re having a blast. Instead of being forced to go on another adventure, how about we just gift them something they’d love for their next one?! Perhaps, they’d just appreciate some cute home décor that speaks to their adventurous side. Here’s my holiday gift guide on what to get your nature-loving buddy! I hope you’re enjoying this series!
1.The Adventure Begins Mug
What better way to “begin” this guide than with this mug? It’s super cute, and the cream color probably matches 99% of their hiking gear anyways! I bet they’d love to drink their morning coffee out of a mug that reminds them to keep on exploring!
2. Canvas Waterproof Shoulder Bag
Okay, you have to admit, this bag kind of makes you want to go on a little adventure yourself! It’s got lots of pockets and with it’s large size, I bet they could fit a ton of camping goods in here! Like a mug (see above)!
3. How to Stay Alive in the Woods Guide
I mean, this seems almost like a necessity. I’d also like to stay alive in the woods! This would be a useful and thoughtful gift to give them. They’d learn how to live, and learn that you care that they do! It’s a win-win! If they live, of course.
4. Adventure Print
Just a cute décor they would definitely love to have in their home! A constant reminder to get out there and see the world would really motivate them to keep trekking! I’m also a huge fan of graphic prints and this is just the cutest.
5.Warmest Blanket Ever
I am obsessed with the pattern on this blanket. I could definitely see this being a staple in any hiker’s bag. It’s so colorful and cozy! Maybe I’ll just buy one to lay around the house in. Indoor camping, anyone?
Okay, this may not be a gift to get that acquaintance who maybe hikes in their backyard once a year, but a perfect gift for a loved one. I have seen some absolutely gorgeous drone shots, and if your friend/family/SO is into nature AND photos? This is probably the perfect gift that can never be topped. In fact, at this price, you shouldn’t have to gift anymore! You have reached MAX level of gift giving!
7. Dog Saddle Bag
Wouldn’t it be the cutest thing to see a dog with one of these on?! The cutest little explorer ready for all the adventures! So many trees to mark, rivers to lap, and squirrels to chase! A perfect gift for a friend with an active pup!
8. Mountain Range Necklace
Don’t feel like buying any gear? This is a dainty, but thoughtful gift for your hiker BFF. Really, anyone that likes mountains might love this adorable little necklace!
9. Take a Hike Print
How many times do you think someone would say this to them? “Take a hike!” Another really cute home décor option when you’re not entirely sure if they’d appreciate any new gear or not! Love the graphics in this so much! I’d definitely get one for myself or James!
An essential item for any person who is active outdoors, this would be the perfect gift! It’s great for long distance runners, hikers, or anyone who just wants to feel like a camel every once in a while. No judgment here.
11. Just a Simple Watch
When your iPhone fails you, this watch will always have your back. Unless it also dies, and then I’m not sure what you’d do. Sundial? It’s still a super cute watch and it would totally match the bag from earlier!
12. Light-up Cactus
This is totally not gear, but if you have someone who hikes near or in deserts, they may very much think this is the cutest thing ever. It’s a really cute statement piece to have in the living room or bedroom and now I really want one.
I’d thought I’d finish this guide with a very versatile item. This could really be for anyone who likes to drink out of silicone cups. Show of hands? This is perfect for picnics, camping, traveling, hiking, or really any kind of outdoor activity that would benefit from wine. So much easier than bringing glass everywhere!
Whether they like to hike, camp, climb, run, or just sit outside near a few trees, I guarantee they would love any of these items here. If this guide doesn’t make you want to go on an adventure yourself, well then, let’s take a nap!
