How many pins have you saved on Pinterest of recipes you want to try, but never get around to? Wondering if they’re even good? Not too worry, I’ll try them for you!
I have a huge love for peanut butter (as mentioned before). I am sorry to all of those with a peanut allergy. You didn’t deserve this. Anyways, cookies + peanut butter = really happy girl. After searching for countless recipes, I came across Chocolate Covered Katie’s PB Cookies! The recipe seemed easy enough and I already had all the ingredients I needed (surprisingly).
The recipes yields 12-16 cookies, or 9 if you’re me, I guess. Maybe I made them too big, maybe I was eating too much of the batter. Regardless, I think that 12-16 would have been pretty tiny cookies. My cookies were the size of my palm.
Perhaps these are too big..
I’m not usually one to compare, but my cookies came out super thin in comparison to hers. This may have something to do with the size of them, honestly.
The recipe also said to bake for 8 minutes and that they’d look underdone when you take them out, but it’s okay. So I let them cool after the 8 minutes and they were still complete mush. So I popped them back in the oven for another 3-4 minutes (until the edges got golden as shown above)
Success! They were cooked, but still soft and buttery!
Overall, I think it was successful and they were SO AMAZING! They really did melt in your mouth and that peanut butter taste was just to die for.
These are also boyfriend approved and he may eat 70% of them.
I’ll have to give this recipe a 8/10. I will definitely be making them again this week!
